Pub locked, owner and staff missing

A DAY after Mr Denis Tay recommended Faber Creek Bar & Restaurant for its 'excellent' fish & chips, its owner, Mr Danny Ng, has gone missing.
The pub's 19-year-old cook, Cheam, a final-year ITE mechanical engineering student, has also disappeared.
The premises are now padlocked and there is no sign of where the operator has moved to.
Neighbours said the owner dumped everything inside and left the premises.
Some said the owner was informed of the non-renewal of the pub's lease two months ago.
Prior to the publication of the review in this paper on 1 Mar, the operator had four chances to inform its customers of the changes.
A journalist had called to verify the telephone number and another call was made to set up the photoshoot.
A photographer also went to the premises and a final call was later made to check the owner's name.
All calls to the pub now go unanswered and no forwarding numbers have been posted at the unit.
What a way to run a business!
